The Call to Seize Eternity

While the world lives under the mantra of carpe diem or seize the day, we as Christians are called in Scripture to grab a hold of eternal life and those things that matter for eternity. I was reading Proverbs this morning and found more verses that confirm this.

Proverbs 23:17-18 “Do not let your heart envy sinners, but be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day; for surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off.”

It is our hope that in creating products that herald this message, that a stirring will begin within the church. Like the verse says…”be zealous.” Be excited about trusting in the Lord and live in a way that honors Him.

The verses above clearly show that we are tempted to live like the world, envying the things they do, the things they have, and the things they indulge in. We are cautioned so that we redirect our thoughts to what is eternal, the fear of the Lord.

Friends…let us SEIZE ETERNITY!
