Eternity Can’t Wait
I heard a country song recently that touted a disturbing message about heaven. It said that everyone wants to go there, but no one wants to go right now. Wow! Scary thought. Unfortunately, it resonates with us as human beings who hold dearly to this life on earth. I want to see my kids grow up. I want to get a children’s book published. I want to get in shape and get back on track. I want to be involved in something that makes a difference.
Being a part of Seize Eternity Christian Clothing is saying “yes” to the reality of it. Eternity truly can’t wait. If I am to live as Christ, then my reason for living and my focus must be on the eternal not the temporal. This trust thing is the test of Christianity. Do I trust God and the way He has made for me in today? Can I grab a hold of eternity in today? Am I willing to trust Him with my finances? Am I willing to open my mouth and share with my neighbor? Am I going to stop and help someone change a flat? Will I continue to live in comfort while others do not have that option?
I do want to go to heaven and until then I want heaven to rain down upon me so that I can grab a hold of it.
