Testify of the Risen King is a design that depicts the triumph of our Savior, the Lion of Judah, Jesus over the enemy of our souls, the devil (the serpent.) When Moses lifted up his rod in the wilderness, all who looked to it were saved from death, just as we, when we look to the cross and to the risen king, placing our trust in His triumph over sin and death, we are saved.
Eternity Can’t Wait
I heard a country song recently that touted a disturbing message about heaven. It said that everyone wants to go there, but no one wants to go right now. Wow! Scary thought. Unfortunately, it resonates with us as human beings who hold dearly to this life on earth. I want to see my kids grow up. I want to get a children’s book published. I want to get in shape and get back on track. I want to be involved in something that makes a difference.

Check out our new graphic tee, Unchained. The heart of the message is to let go of the world and put your trust in Jesus. We can all get bogged down and shackled to the things of this world. And yet we are to run this race with endurance, laying aside all the weights that so easily ensnare us. With all that we face in this life it is imperative that we put our trust in Jesus. How else can we make it? Who else has the words of eternal life? Who better to trust but the One that is Faithful and True?
Encouraging One Another to Seize Eternity
Hebrews 3:13 (NKJ) “but exhort one another daily, while is is called “Today.” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”
Another word for “exhort” is “encourage.” We are to encourage each other EVERY DAY so that we are not deceiving ourselves, and on top of that, that we are not deceived by the lies of this world, the enemy, or false teachers that lurk amongst us.
I was encouraged this weekend as the pastor taught about how we can reign in this life by soaking in and eating up God’s grace in and for our lives. Like he said, “I need Jesus.” And anyone who knows us would recognize that we all need Jesus.
Trusting in the Lord
What is God prompting you to do, to say, to minister to someone, to trust Him with? For us, it is not only this business, it is everything. God has called us to trust Him with everything, literally. It’s not just some spiritual concept. It’s real and as we are living, it requires real faith and not just talk.
I can say that though I kick against it sometimes, I am very thankful. God is giving me things in my life that I have prayed for for years. He is restoring, healing, building up, growing, stretching and completely hedging us in. Praise the Lord, we are in Him!
A Contemporary Way to Spread the Good News
Christians have discovered a contemporary way to spread the Good News, by wearing the message through Christian t-shirt evangelism. Wearing their faith has become a fashion statement and a faith statement.
According to Webster’s Dictionary, evangelism is “a preaching of or zealous effort to spread the gospel.”
Christian clothing takes the boldness to a new level. The “zealous” preaching is printed, implied, or visually displayed on the shirts, hats, or other Christian apparel.
Great Feedback on the New Christian Clothing
Thanks everyone for the feedback on the launch of Seize Eternity, our new Christian clothing line. We’ve gotten a lot of great comments, especially as people see us and others wearing the hats and t-shirts.
The hats look great! The SE Symbol is on the front, which will make others ask “What’s that?”
We are currently working on getting a graphic tee, ladies design, and a kids shirt up on the site.If you haven’t been back to the site, bookmark it so that you can see the regular changes being made by our wonderful webmaster 
There is a new community to interact in and Bible study tools and opportunities for prayer requests.
The Call to Seize Eternity
While the world lives under the mantra of carpe diem or seize the day, we as Christians are called in Scripture to grab a hold of eternal life and those things that matter for eternity. I was reading Proverbs this morning and found more verses that confirm this.
Proverbs 23:17-18 “Do not let your heart envy sinners, but be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day; for surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off.”
Our First Sale!!
We launched the store and we had our first sale last night! In the midst of our excitement about getting the word out, we are also working diligently on developing additional products.
Shirts and hats in fashionable styles for women and children will be available as soon as next week. The launch of our first line of graphic tees is scheduled for August.

Living for What Matters
Today was a designated work day for the Seize Eternity team and we set out to tie up loose ends and make sure things on the site were as they should be. After a full day of writing, banking, editing, meetings, and brainstorming, I went to pick up the kids from a friend’s house. God is so good. The radio program on at that very time dealt with the topic of living for what matters.
What an awesome encouragement it is when God chooses to bless us with confirmation of the path we are on. The pastor taught from 1 Timothy 4:7-10. The focus of the message was that “godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.” Living a godly life is a life with eternal vision, not one grasping onto this world.
